Those guys couldn’t ride a slippery stick up their arses, was my phone and on a tripod so clearly in his path of sight, I don’t know how he didn’t actually flood it as I watched him steer towards it. I think this behaviour goes with the territory mate, this was next to the Bruce under tibro creek bridge, just north of cabo, you should explore one day

They’re more then capable, if you’re realistic. I’ve had mine in far harder tracks I just haven’t been able to film it. Just realised you commented on other videos chasing specs.

I have the eibach 30mm lifted springs, definitely worth getting over the lifting blocks. The tyres are Falken wildpeaks 235/70-16. Sorry I took so long to get back to you I don’t get notifications on this account

Hey mate it’s going great so far, broken nothing but I do employ mechanical sympathy etc. I’ve been wheeling for about 25 years or so and that helps. It now has a steel skid plate and that has made a difference. I wouldn’t recommend anything other then dirt roads with the stock plastic skid plate

​@@eldo4x4 did you get the skid plates custom made yourself or did you find some available that were ready to bolt on? Also wondering what year tiggy you have, I'm thinking of buying one myself

Air intake is basically bonnet height, I don’t really intend on taking it that deep. Also no one makes one so it would be custom etc. I have looked at possibly making some piping to move it to the top rear of the engine bay, but I could actually Make it worse. It has I think like a 40cm fording depth stock so now it’s much higher I would say I’m at about 50cm

Hey mate sorry for the late reply, they’re 235/75-16 falken wild peaks. The fuel economy is up about 10-15 percent as they’re much heavier and way larger diameter. The speedo was out by about 5% before on standard tyres, now it’s exact according to GPS

That awesome how much of a lift do you have? I did 1.5 inches and now I have too much positive chamber and I have a slight shake but still have oem tire size. Did you have any of these problems ?

@@TMR_1988 mines got 30mm eibach springs but I did gain more then 30mm. No issue with camber at all. The eibachs are German so created to work with a factory car etc, they’re also engineered so they are not allowed to interfere etc. change your tyres and that should help, maybe drop it back down a little in size. How did you lift it?

@@eldo4x4 I lifted it with spacers, but I took it out. I spoke with my vw guy here and he said just to leave it stock height and get a skid plate so I am just doing that. Found falken wild trail at tires. Oh well

@@TMR_1988 I put on a steel skid plate from Kolchuga and had to import it from Ukraine. We don’t have anyone making them here in australia. My friend has the lifting blocks but only the 30mm ones and they’re fine. So you could just put a 25mm set in and use the skid plate. The steel skid plate changed the game, I didn’t have to worry anymore about the sump hitting

I’m definitely packing a rod next trip up, it’s about 1:15 from my place

@@aaronbridges8098not off road mode it doesn’t have it on this model. 235/75-16 is the tyre size
